It was a busy week for Raider Track & Field, competing in the Region 7-6A Championships. Here are the results. Congratulations to all of these Raiders!
Congratulations to the Girls Track and Field team for placing 2nd in the Region 7-6A Championship!
Top performers were the 4 x 800m Relay Team of Nina Ouellette, Alexa Hoppenfeld, Dominique Saintvil, Elle Mezzio, who placed 1st and set a New School Record; Nina Ouellette placed 1st in the 800m; and Elle Mezzio placed 1st in the 1600m.
The 4x400m Relay Team of Jordyn Baxter, Nina Ouellette, Maliaka Njie, Dominique Saintvil placed 2nd. Alexa Hoppenfeld placed 2nd in the 3200m; and Jordyn Baxter placed 2nd in the 100m. Jordyn also took 3rd place in the 200m.
Elle Mezzio placed 3rd in the 800m; Siaka Humphery placed 3rd in the high jump; Majestic Gay placed 3rd in the triple jump; Laura Kelly placed 3rd in the pole vault; and Julia Gray Wells placed 3rd in the 100m hurdles.
The 4x 100m Relay Team of Dominque Saintvil, Kinsey Bilal, Malaika Njie, Jordyn Baxter placed 4th; Alexa Hoppenfeld placed 4th in the 1600m; Dominique Saintvil placed 4th in the 300m hurdles; and Kinsey Bilal placed 4th in the 100m. Kinsey also took 7th place in the 200m.
Chloe Horwitz placed 6th pole vault, and 7th place in the 100m hurdles.
The Boys were lead by Nick West’s 1st place finish in the pole vault (setting a new school record). Other 1st place finishers were the 4x 800m Relay Team Eli Hoppenfeld, Ronel Saintvil, Ryan Hoppenfeld, Carson Speer; Janon Redmon placed 1st in the 110m Hurdles; and Eli Hoppenfeld placed 1st in the 800m. Eli also took 4th place 1600m.

The 4x400m Relay Team of Ronel Saintvil, Eli Hoppenfeld, NJ Ruiz, Taijeon Dorce placed 7th; and
Ryan Hoppenfeld 8th placed in the 1600.
