Riverwood International Charter School senior, Henry Collins (Class of 2021), has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Sewanee: University of the South, located in Sewanee, Tennessee. Collins will receive an academic scholarship to attend the school and play for the Tigers, who compete in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association. He was recruited as a pitcher for the NCAA Division III team.
Collins is a three-year varsity letterman in baseball and was the MVP of the Raider JV team his sophomore season. He has played travel ball with the 6-4-3 DP program for the last two years and currently plays for the 6-4-3 18u Cougars. Henry received Honorable Mention for the 2021 Perfect Game Pre-Season All Southeast Region Team.
Collins also played basketball for his first three years at Riverwood, earning one varsity letter. Off the playing field, Collins is an honors student involved with the National Honor Society, Beta Club, and Young Men’s Service League.
